Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to support a NAVSEA Contract and be a member of the Readiness and Logistics Group. The Readiness & Logistics Group is the Navy's technical authority for maritime readiness and logistics, including developing, executing, monitoring, improving, and providing training on policy and process associated with implementing the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements across the NAVSEA enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, coordinate, and document complex financial analysis projects, including financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.
  • Provide analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related projects.
  • Prepare forecasts and analysis of trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions, and other related areas.
  • Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to senior management.
  • Conduct special financial and business-related studies and cooperate with other departments in the preparation of analyses.
  • Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately.
  • Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
Requirements:
  • 7 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or in the field/related area.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state-of-the-art technical or industry knowledge.
  • Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
