Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CASAC to join our team at Praxis Housing Initiatives, Inc. The successful candidate will provide addiction assessments, intakes, and counseling services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive addiction assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions, including recovery ready counseling and motivational interviewing.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement service plans.
- Monitor client progress and provide crisis interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in our case management software.
Requirements:
- Certified Alcohol Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) certification.
- Relevant experience working with special needs populations, preferably 3 years or more.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
