Each year, we serve over 18,000 patients, providing both outpatient and inpatient services.



SUMMARY:
The role involves conducting patient evaluations to determine the purpose of their visit. This includes performing vital signs assessments, lab tests, and procedures based on the nursing evaluation of the patient's issues. The position also requires updating medication records and allergy information, as well as informing the physician of any significant changes in the patient's medical history or medications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Demonstrates proficiency in all areas outlined in the Competency Testing Checklist, including the operation of medical equipment and in-office laboratory procedures.

Ensures that the Competency Achievement Plan is completed and reviewed annually.

Accurately documents relevant information regarding the patient's concerns, medical history, and clinical interventions promptly.

Acts as an advocate for patients, collaborating with them to reach their healthcare objectives. Returns patient inquiries in a timely manner and addresses medication refill requests within 24 hours or by the next business day. Exhibits exceptional customer service and patient engagement skills. Represents Estes Park Health with professionalism and skill. Contributes to effective teamwork and promotes collaboration within the healthcare team. Achieves scheduling efficiencies based on patient needs and physician guidelines. Facilitates referrals, prior authorizations, and other clinical support tasks as needed. Upholds Estes Park Health performance standards and actively engages in process improvement initiatives. Participates in assigned committees. Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations and standards set by regulatory agencies. Complies with the vision, mission, and goals of Estes Park Health. Performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a current LPN license and have a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience.

COMPENSATION RANGE:
$30.71 per hour with an additional PRN differential of $3.00/hr
