- Respond to Emergency Situations: Demonstrate knowledge and skills to act appropriately in emergency situations, utilizing skills sets such as ALCS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS/ENPC.
- Education and Counseling: Participate in education and counseling of patients and their families, caretakers, or friends, developing a plan of care and discharge teaching.
- Professional Growth and Competency: Demonstrate commitment to professional growth and competency, maintaining certifications such as ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS/ENPC.
- Interpersonal Relationships: Promote positive interpersonal relationships and demonstrate effective communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Confidentiality and HIPAA: Maintain confidentiality of all patient and hospital information, describing HIPAA regulations and security measures to protect medical records.
- Professional Standards: Practice according to professional and ethical standards, demonstrating an understanding of and functioning as a professional nurse in accordance with Colorado State Nurse Practice Act.
- Financial Stewardship: Participate in financial stewardship by efficiently using resources and supplies, reviewing charges.
- Committee and Community Involvement: Participate in committees and/or community events as a member of EPH, when requested and possible.
- Regulatory Compliance: Perform in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulatory agency standards.
- Company Vision and Mission: Perform in accordance with EPH vision, mission, and goals.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience: 2 years of experience
- Licensure: Valid Colorado RN license or a valid multistate RN license through the Nurse Licensure Compact
- Certifications: American Heart Association ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC; NRP
- Recommended Certifications: CEN, NIHSS
