Vail Resorts is seeking a skilled and dedicated Culinary Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Chef, promoting teamwork, and maintaining food quality and safety to ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Monitor inventory and manage food costs to minimize waste
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction

Requirements:
  • Culinary degree or certification preferred
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience; supervisory kitchen experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, practices, and food safety; ServSafe certifications a plus
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work well and communicate with others in a fast-paced environment under pressure
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English
