Sales Order Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Order Coordinator to join our team at Boundless Network Inc. The primary function of this role is to ensure a smooth order processing experience, including order accuracy and efficiency.

This individual will serve as the liaison between sales representatives and suppliers during the entire order processing life cycle and will report to the Sales Support Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review orders, verify details, facilitate order proofing, track statuses, and ensure orders are shipped and arrive as scheduled
  • Effectively collaborate with sales representatives and suppliers on a regular basis to ensure smooth order coordination and fulfillment
  • Collaborate with immediate team members, supervisor, and other departments to answer general questions, resolve issues, and ensure accurate client billing
  • Properly document all supplier fulfillment discrepancies
  • Run weekly open-order report and close outstanding orders; Attend weekly order update calls
  • Review supplier invoices to ensure billing accuracy
  • Offer to help out other team members as necessary
Requirements:
  • 1+ year experience in the customer service industry required
  • Strong customer service skills and adaptability to different personality types a must
  • Excellent communication skills in all forms: verbal and written
  • Quick learner, with strong organizational and time management skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and time
  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (incl. Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Must be proficient in Windows PC
  • Discipline to work remotely and with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and/or other CRM/ERP technology preferred
  • Knowledge of project management software such as TeamWorks a plus
  • Knowledge of NetSuite a plus
  • Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow, and excel in their role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced constantly changing environment and meet tight deadlines
