This role involves supervising a dedicated team, ensuring compliance with established policies, and enhancing service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide staff in the issuance of building permits and the management of related documentation.
- Develop and implement strategies for efficient permit processing and customer service.
- Participate in setting organizational goals and policies, recommending improvements as necessary.
- Assist in the recruitment and training of staff, addressing performance issues as they arise.
- Manage the budget for the permit program, ensuring proper allocation of resources.
- Provide technical support and complex permit services to customers.
- Maintain strong relationships with various governmental offices, contractors, and architects to resolve issues effectively.
- Oversee the archiving and management of all permit-related records and plans.
- Prepare detailed reports on operations and activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.
