About the Role

The Sr. Procurement Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the assigned material readiness, execution, and delivery for NPI development builds and ramp readiness for products. This role involves applying supply chain techniques, ensuring materials readiness supports critical pre-production milestones, and implementing tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with vendors and Engineering teams to ensure material alignment for new products release
  • Monitor Bill of Materials (BOM) changes throughout NPI phases and conduct change impact analysis with cross-functional teams
  • Execute solutions to eliminate material shortages impacting build and ship dates
  • Deliver succinct, impactful, and professional communication at all levels of the organization
  • Provide written and verbal updates on material status against build targets
  • Minimize NPI excess and obsolete (E&O) and other material risks
  • Create and maintain purchase orders
  • Responsible for reviewing open orders with suppliers to resolve supplier-related questions/issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration, or advanced degree with equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a buying or purchasing function with Supply Chain background
  • Basic understanding of procurement principles and practices
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate and interact with vendors effectively in a professional manner
  • Ability to effectively partner with cross-functional internal teams and with various organizational levels
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting skills
  • Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • SAP Experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Organized and able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
