Your Role:
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be pivotal in shaping the architecture and development of our Payment Platform, one of our most rapidly expanding shared platforms. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a talented team and influence the technical direction of a high-traffic, reliable cloud-based platform within a dynamic Healthcare IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the architectural and design initiatives, ensuring alignment with scalability and business goals.
  • Provide mentorship and set the technical vision for the team, driving excellence in all deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish a technical roadmap that aligns with business objectives.
  • Translate complex requirements into manageable tasks and milestones through detailed technical specifications.
  • Ensure that all deliverables meet both functional and non-functional requirements, proactively addressing any misalignments.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by guiding engineers through design, code, and operational evaluations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of software development experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Extensive experience with Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with public cloud services, particularly AWS.
  • Experience in full-stack technical leadership is advantageous.
  • Proven track record in designing, developing, and managing modern cloud-native, fault-tolerant distributed services.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across various functional areas.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and technical acumen, with the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals.
  • Experience in the payment domain is a plus.
