Job Title: Jr. QA Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Revolution Technologies. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for performing validation testing of our public safety applications to ensure that planned changes to the application and supporting systems and infrastructure do not impact the quality of the deployed solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Validation: Review and analyze system specifications to ensure that they meet the required standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering and Development teams to develop effective strategies and test plans to ensure the quality of the solution.
  • Testing: Execute test cases (manual or automated), thoroughly document and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Defect Reporting: Report defects to Engineering and Development teams and assist with resolution as required.
  • Quality Evaluation: Evaluate new/updated product/system code and updates according to specifications and validate quality/functionality according to provided specifications/test cases.
  • User Acceptance Testing: Work with end users on user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that software and systems meet customer requirements.
  • Documentation: Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
  • Issue Resolution: Report bugs and errors to engineering and/or development teams as required and help troubleshoot issues.
  • Post-Release Testing: Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing to ensure that the solution meets the required standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:
