Responsibilities
  • Actively diagnose and treat veterans under the direction and responsibility of a supervising physician.
  • Examine patients for symptoms of organic or congenital disorders.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans and assist in provision of continuity of care.
  • Order and perform diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, laboratory tests, etc.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited program for physician assistants.
  • Certification by applicable professional organization.
  • Minimum five years of combined approved academic training and healthcare experience required.
About Us

Valor Healthcare operates over 50 VA Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in the United States as a contractor for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
