About the Position

As a Police Officer with the City of Scottsdale, you will play a vital role in maintaining public safety and protecting the community. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform law enforcement duties, including patrolling assigned areas, responding to calls for service, and investigating crimes.
  • Enforce laws and regulations, issue citations and make arrests as necessary.
  • Provide assistance to the public, including emergency response and crisis intervention.
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations to achieve public safety goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest law enforcement techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and a U.S. citizen.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to pass a physical fitness test and meet the physical demands of the job.
