Security Operations Leader

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance security operations and reduce risks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store leaders, asset protection teams, and law enforcement agencies to align security operations with business objectives.
  • Lead the recruitment, selection, and training of security operations personnel.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to security operations.
  • Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments and provide guidance to leadership on reducing security risks.
  • Oversee investigations involving crimes or actions committed against Scheels.
  • Develop and implement emergency and security protocols for Scheels campus and store locations.
  • Collaborate with Scheels teams to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Criminal Justice or related field.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in law enforcement, military, or security operations.
  • Expert-level execution of writing reports, leading investigations, and developing programs.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience in building and leading teams.
  • Ability to pass an extensive background check, personality assessment, and drug test.
