Key Responsibilities
  • Protect life and property of all persons on hospital premises
  • Patrol buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism
  • Provide documentation of all Security activities occurring while on duty
  • Demonstrate knowledge of role and responsibility in emergency situations
  • Assist nursing staff with patient restraints
  • Manage time and resources to complete work assignments within an acceptable time frame
  • Develop and maintain efficient working relationships
  • Recognize the importance of team efforts and partner with others to achieve positive outcomes
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, and be fluent in English
  • High School Diploma or Equivalence
  • Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
  • Ability to speak Portuguese/Spanish
