We are currently seeking a dedicated professional with a strong background in customer service to support our Division of Benefits and Medical Eligibility. This role is vital in ensuring that our clients receive the assistance they need to thrive.
In this position, you will be responsible for providing administrative and customer service support for the DOTS program. Your role will involve maintaining organized office operations, tracking and updating data in our automated systems, and facilitating effective communication with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients in person to guide them through the necessary steps in our Standard Work processes.
- Evaluate applications for NA Expedite criteria and accurately enter data into our systems.
- Inform clients about their Rights and Responsibilities, Change Reporting, Self-Service options, and interview processes.
- Manage document scanning and uploading into the FAA's Document Management System and Eligibility System.
- Oversee the ordering and inventory of office supplies and equipment.
- Distribute Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards as required.
- Ensure compliance with the Voter Registration process.
- Provide translation services when necessary.
- Accurately input ETE information into our automated systems in a timely manner.
- Address and de-escalate conflicts with clients professionally.
- Refer unresolved issues to higher management as needed.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues by liaising with the Helpdesk or Resolution center.
- Occasionally travel to various locations to issue EBT cards and deliver supplies.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Familiarity with computer service practices and administrative procedures.
- Understanding of program rules, regulations, and computer systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills utilizing logic and reasoning.
- Proficiency in the English language, including grammar and composition.
- Excellent active listening and communication skills.
- Effective time management and organizational abilities.
- Experience with Google Workspace applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year experience in a customer service role.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and professionalism.
- Experience with software for tracking and preparing information.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements.
