Warehouse Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison for inventory-related issues and monitor material movements to ensure accuracy.
- Perform daily cycle counts according to schedule and conduct physical counts as needed.
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping and monitor FEFO adherence.
- Label products, operate forklifts, and validate ingredients.
- Work with Warehouse operators to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Monitor and track material movements to ensure inventory accuracies.
- Conduct daily physical inventory cycle counts in accordance with the published schedule.
- Conduct counts on materials and finished goods upon request.
- Maintain housekeeping in a dry warehouse.
- Monitor proper delivery of materials based on picklist for the current production run.
- Monitor movements to guarantee FEFO is being followed.
- Prepare and apply labels for products entering and exiting the warehouse.
- Operate lift truck in the production area and warehouse.
- Validate and document common ingredients in production batching areas at the end of the run.
- Work to maintain and improve the quality, legality, and safety of each product and the processes used in their manufacture.
- Responsible for keeping assigned work area clean and tidy at all times and reporting any potential contamination and suspicious activity to a Supervisor immediately.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required OR one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 1 year of SAP experience in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 1 year of inventory/cycle counting experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- At least 1 year of forklift experience is a plus.
