Job Title: PACU RN

Incredible Health is actively hiring for a PACU RN in the Austin, TX area. We are seeking experienced nurses with a strong background in post-anesthesia care to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide immediate post-operative care to surgical patients, monitoring vital signs and managing symptoms of anesthesia.
  • Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff.
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home.
  • Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
  • 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proficient in electronic medical record systems.
