Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Member Services Representative to join our team at the Kiawah Island Club. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, guests, and fellow team members.

The Member Services Representative will be the first point of contact for members, potential new members, and guests, providing assistance with logistics and reservations for club events, dining facilities, transportation, and other activities. You will also be responsible for organizing data entry for membership, facilitating member and guest credentials, and assisting the Membership Director with services and orientation of new members.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong written and verbal communication skills, a four-year college degree in Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, Recreation, or a related field, and previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage, customer service, or private club management. You must also be able to multi-task and manage multiple systems at once, have excellent telephone and written etiquette, and be available to work 1-2 weekends a month.

Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for members, potential new members, and guests
  • Assisting with logistics and reservations for club events, dining facilities, transportation, and other activities
  • Organizing data entry for membership, facilitating member and guest credentials, and assisting the Membership Director with services and orientation of new members
  • Providing exceptional service to members, guests, and fellow team members

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Four-year college degree in Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, Recreation, or a related field
  • Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage, customer service, or private club management
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple systems at once
