Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a leader in patient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for using the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, effectively delegate and direct licensed and ancillary team members, and assume accountability for quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of patients, families, and other groups or disciplines.
- Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources to ensure optimal patient care.
- Use data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Embrace concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale, and improve the profession of nursing.
- Adapt behavior to meet the specific needs of patients, including respect for privacy, communication style, and permission requests.
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area.
- Associate's degree in nursing.
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment and be self-directed.
This role requires working in a patient care area, interacting with patients, and potentially being exposed to communicable diseases and hazardous medications or waste.
