Key Responsibilities
  • Program Oversight: Supervise and account for participants on a daily basis, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Activity Planning: Implement activities that promote fun, education, and character building, and coordinate with staff to ensure program success.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with parents, staff, and other stakeholders, reporting any concerns or issues in a timely manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and reports, completing all required documentation.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve problems and conflicts in a sensitive and mature manner, using positive attitude and innovative techniques.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a positive public image and attitude.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working with youth and/or teenagers, preferably in a youth care setting.
  • Skills: Demonstrated reliability, initiative, and excellent communication skills, with ability to work pleasantly with youth, families, school personnel, and fellow employees.
  • Certifications: CPR/AED certification within 3 months of employment.
Working Conditions

This is a seasonal position, approximately 15 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, from August to June.
