**General Manager Role at Tatte Bakery**

The General Manager at Tatte Bakery is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering a warm and authentic experience for our guests and team members. This role requires a strong leader who can drive total four walls quality, standards, and performance.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Demonstrate complete ownership of the business, including total responsibility for the four walls and P&L ownership.
  • Model authentic, warm guest experiences and instill great service in the team.
  • Ensure the café is optimally staffed with individuals who embody Tatte's values.
  • Demonstrate keen people performance management skills, with the ability to identify talent and develop managers and hourly team members.
  • Display skill in leading and navigating hard conversations.
  • Continuously uphold Tatte brand and visual standards.
  • Lead team members through effective and efficient operational execution.
  • Ensure Food Safety in the café.
  • Lead all café-level change management activities to ensure effective and accurate communication of new product, service, and operational information.
  • Ensure food, labor, and controllable costs stay consistently within guardrails set by the company.
  • Oversee all café administrative requirements.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a General Manager, preferably in a high-volume, full-service, and/or polished fast-casual restaurant.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • High integrity and professionalism.
  • High School education or equivalent.

**Preferred Skills:**

  • Hospitality Education: B.S. in Hospitality Management and/or A.S. Hotel and Restaurant Management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Previous experience working with UltiPro, Toast - POS System, CrunchTime/TeamworX.
  • ServSafe, Allergen, and ChokeSaver Certifications.
