Data Analyst

ProMinds Inc is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to support the overall mission of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). As an Administrative Assistant with budgeting duties, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to enforcement groups of DEA Agents and Task Force Officers (TFOs).
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare correspondence, memoranda, reports, teletypes, and subpoenas, ensuring correct format, punctuation, and grammar.
- Review funding requests and maintain grant-funded spreadsheet budgets for three DEA initiatives, monitoring budget limitations and agency needs.
- Monitor expenditures in assigned areas to ensure compliance with grant specifications.
- Oversee the preparation of requisitions and purchase orders, track obligations, compare expend plans against fund limitations, and perform financial reconciliations.
- Prepare quarterly reports to HIDTA management, including expended funds and vendor details.
- Extract data from various agency databases, such as IMPACT, UFMS, FIRM, and PMP, and perform data entry of statistical information.
- Analyze budgets with group supervisors and make recommendations for funds allocation.
- Update statistics in the HIDTA Performance Management Process (PMP) Database, including drug and asset seizures, and create DTOs with Group Supervisor.
- Collaborate with the accounting branch to resolve funding execution discrepancies and provide fund availability to group supervisors when requested.
- Track inventory, submit disposal memorandums to funding agency, HIDTA, and DEA, and maintain logs and gas receipts for agents' Official Government Vehicles (OGV).
- Receives, gathers, analyzes, and organizes information from multiple sources, ensuring completeness and reconciling inconsistencies.
- Accurately enters required data into one or more databases, documents, or spreadsheets.
- Establishes and maintains physical files and keeps track of case file status to ensure compliance with established deadlines.
- Coordinates requests for additional information as needed and selects relevant information from various sources to prepare documents, reports, summaries, and replies to inquiries.
- Performs word processing relevant to case and provides accurate and timely status updates.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High School diploma or GED, Undergraduate degree preferred.
- Experience with funding obligations, purchasing, accounting, or finance is strongly preferred.
- Ability to grasp and understand the organization and functions of the customer.
- Meticulous data entry skills.
- Excellent communication skills; oral and written.
- Competence to review, interpret, and evaluate complex legal and non-legal documents.
- Attention to detail and the ability to read and follow directions is extremely important.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other common software applications, to include databases, intermediate skills preferred.
- Proven commitment and competence to provide excellent customer service; positive and flexible.
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a professional disposition.
This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation.
