Director of Programming

Job Summary

The Director of Programming is a pivotal role within the organization, reporting directly to the Deputy Executive Director of the Business Innovation Group. This position is responsible for crafting educational frameworks, training modules, and networking platforms aimed at supporting both emerging and established small enterprises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analyses to provide insightful recommendations and educate clients on business strategies, market viability, financial sustainability, operational management, and legal frameworks.
  • Guide clients towards relevant resources for business intelligence and support.
  • Design and implement training programs tailored to the specific needs of the business community.
  • Manage administrative tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of activities.
  • Support office operations to guarantee exceptional client service and prompt responses to inquiries.
  • Act as a champion for business growth, expansion, and retention within the region.
  • Engage in public relations efforts, including delivering presentations and speeches.
  • Collaborate in the development and execution of strategies for acquiring sponsorships that align with organizational goals.
  • Work in partnership with private sector businesses and other economic development entities to enhance the economic prosperity of the community.


Qualifications

Educational Background
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant business discipline

Experience Requirements
  • A minimum of three years of related professional experience


Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Educational Background
  • Master's Degree in a relevant business discipline


Compensation

$60,617 - $77,000

This is an exempt position compensated on a monthly basis.
