Overview
CGL Companies, LLC specializes in delivering extensive facility maintenance solutions to commercial clients. The Electronics Technician plays a crucial role in managing all electronic systems and computerized controls within the facility, encompassing locking mechanisms, fire alarm systems, intercom/public address systems, surveillance systems, nurse-call systems, and various other security-related technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute all preventive maintenance schedules according to established specifications.
- Conduct administrative duties, including work order documentation and general record management.
- Assist in the creation and upkeep of a maintenance management database.
- Foster professional relationships with client personnel and provide technical assistance.
- Carry out inspections of building security and electronic systems.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Complete both preventive and corrective maintenance work orders efficiently.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in security electronics within commercial settings is required.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- A collaborative team player with a positive demeanor.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
