The RoleAs a Tax Senior Manager in our State & Local Tax (SALT) practice, you'll provide state and local property tax planning, consulting, and compliance services to multiple clients across various industries. You'll work directly with clients, manage tax engagement teams, and be connected to a strong support system from firm leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Engage in business development activities, including preparing proposals and presenting in webinars.
- Provide guidance to clients on property tax issues, analyzing considerations and potential impacts related to business restructuring or due diligence projects.
- Perform in-depth reviews of complex property tax returns and assist with drafting and presenting new proposals to clients.
- Supervise, mentor, train, and evaluate Seniors, Associates, and Interns.
We offer competitive base compensation, a benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics. For individuals hired to work in San Francisco, the expected salary range for this role is $177,100 to $229,500.
Requirements- 6+ years of relevant work experience in an accounting firm, with at least 5 years of property tax experience.
- Bachelor's and/or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced credential allowing for client representation before the Internal Revenue Service (e.g., CPA or JD).
- Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficient use of technology.
