Job Title: Assembler - Big Build (2nd Shift)

The Assembler will play a critical role in achieving our strategic objectives by proficiently assembling high-quality portable power distribution boxes in a safe and efficient manner. This position requires a strong attention to detail, ability to read and comprehend instructions, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Understand job orders and interact with Epicor.
  • Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Complete and maintain all required paperwork, including entering data into Epicor.
  • Maintain and operate hand tools and power tools.
  • Perform quality control checks and inspections to ensure product quality.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines, and visually inspect parts produced
  • Accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis
  • Must be able to read, write, and comprehend plant directives written in English

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Technical secondary education
  • Basic computer skills and accurate data entry experience
  • Ability to perform simple mathematics and comprehend process sheets, SOP manuals, and tally sheets
  • Basic understanding of blueprints, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly
  • Frequent lifting, standing, bending, and reaching required
  • Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
  • Must adhere to all PPE requirements to perform the job safely
