About the Role

This position reports directly to the Human Resource Manager and is responsible for the general and specific job duties of Decostar as described below:

Your Responsibilities
  • Responsible for promoting and seeking excellence in all aspects of business.
  • Assist in recruiting, job posting, and interview process.
  • Participate in New Hire orientation and onboarding.
  • Assist with Workers' Compensation Claims.
  • Assist with insurance carrier in managing Short Term and Long-Term Disability claims.
  • Other duties as assigned by HR Manager, A.G.M. and G.M.
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a Generalist role in a manufacturing environment (automotive experience preferred).
  • Prior experience with ADP, Workday or other related systems.
  • Strong use and knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience navigating through delicate employee issues.
  • Bachelor's Degree specializing in Human Resources Management, Business Administration. Different education focus considered if accompanied with equivalent work experience in Human Resources.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Able to create a positive work environment by demonstrating and sharing functional/technical knowledge.
  • Excellent listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills focused on relationship building at all levels of the company.
