Position Overview:

As the Culinary Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and developing the team within our kitchen department while providing exceptional food and service to our customers. Our offerings include a variety of freshly prepared items such as smoked meats, artisan pizzas, made-to-order sandwiches, salads, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a vibrant and inclusive environment for both team members and customers
  • Collaborate with management to recruit, hire, and train new staff
  • Develop and manage weekly schedules to ensure optimal guest experiences
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and conducting regular inventory checks
  • Drive sales and profitability by managing department performance metrics
  • Create production schedules to adhere to food safety and quality standards
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen equipment and workspaces
  • Work with guest services to provide a welcoming onboarding experience for new team members
  • Facilitate training programs to enhance team skills and guest service
  • Guide team members in operational efficiency and retention strategies
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations

Availability:

This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Passion for preparing delicious and nutritious food
  • Commitment to high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and health department standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or related field
  • Experience in retail or grocery settings
  • Familiarity with production planning software

Physical and Work Conditions:

  • Ability to perform repetitive movements and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable using kitchen tools and equipment
  • Willingness to stand for extended periods
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate protective gear
