Role Responsibilities:
As a Counter Sales Associate, you will deliver exceptional service to our customers both in-person and over the phone, embodying the Famous Way. Your role will involve assisting contractor clients in acquiring the necessary materials to efficiently complete their projects.
Key Duties Include:
- Providing courteous and effective customer service
- Assessing customer requirements
- Offering suitable products and solutions
- Processing and scheduling customer orders
- Managing open orders and customer bids
- Retrieving orders from the warehouse for customer fulfillment
- Maintaining a clean and organized counter area
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of HVAC and/or Plumbing systems
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficiency in computer usage
- Capability to stand for extended periods during an 8-hour shift
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Physical capability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating forklifts
- Familiarity with RF scanners
- Background in warehouse operations
