Patient Care Specialist

The Patient Care Specialist works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to maintain constant direct observation and visualization of identified patients. This includes patient observation, safety, privacy, communication, conduct, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining constant direct observation and visualization of identified patients
- Documenting observations appropriately
- Respecting patients' right to dignity while providing care, with a priority on safety
- Communicating effectively with patients, medical teams, and other stakeholders
- Providing patient care activities within the scope of practice and competency
Exceptional customer service and ability to communicate verbally and in writing are essential for this role.
