Firefighter/Paramedic - Emergency Response Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Firefighter/Paramedic to join our team at the City of Fairfield. As a Firefighter/Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services and fire suppression in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care and transportation to patients
- Operate firefighting equipment and vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Participate in fire station and equipment maintenance to ensure a safe and clean work environment
- Accurately complete all required forms and documentation
- Participate in training exercises and drills to maintain currency in critical skills
- Must possess certification for Firefighter II and a minimum of EMT-B
- Current Paramedic certification is preferred
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position
- Ability to work in a team environment and make sound judgments in critical situations
- Basic computer competency
