Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Envita Medical Center. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CT machinery to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the direction of a radiologist.

  • Act as a resource to patients and staff for additional perspective and education regarding CT processes and options.

  • Administer contrast materials as needed and be able to assist in intervention in the event of an emergency response.

  • Work closely with physicians and medical staff to maintain exceptional and precise care throughout each procedure.

  • Assist patients into positions using safe patient handling techniques and equipment.

  • Evaluate equipment for quality assurance and contact service for repairs/maintenance as needed.

  • Document all quality control testing according to department protocol.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current RT(R) and (CT) certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

  • Current Arizona Medical Radiologic Technologist licensure (MRT) in Radiography (CRT) and Computed Tomography (CTCT).

  • Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in interventional radiology.

  • 2+ years of CT experience.
