Job Title: Extrusion Maintenance Planner

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Maintenance Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving maintenance workforce productivity and quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive planning, including researching, scoping of work, estimating material and labor requirements, developing task instructions, identifying tool and equipment requirements, and developing job material lists.
  • Coordinating with operations, purchasing, storeroom, maintenance personnel, and maintenance management to ensure effective maintenance planning and execution.
  • Managing rebuild parts programs and reporting metrics, including PM analysis, breakdown analysis, and labor utilization analysis.
  • Participating in maintenance and repair budget forecasting and budget tracking, and maintaining a solid understanding of customer expectations and deliverables.
  • Supervising the work order system to establish priority and control over maintenance requests from plant personnel.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree in a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience.
  • Knowledgeable in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CMMS.
  • Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) experience a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude.
  • Previous supervisory experience desirable.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus. Lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 90 pounds and heavier weights with the use of proper equipment and assistance.

Subject to fluctuating temperatures within the work facility, as impacted by the weather.
