Job Summary

The Maintenance Planner works closely with the Operations Maintenance Lead and other key members of the unit to produce accurate plans for labor, equipment, and parts needed to perform a job outlined on a work order. This position reports to the Site Operations Maintenance Leader.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate maintenance plans for labor, equipment, and parts.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Maintenance Lead and other team members to prioritize work and ensure high-quality results.
  • Utilize SAP, Excel, and other computer skills to manage and analyze data.
  • Manage engineering documentation, including P&IDs, ISA data sheets, vendor manuals, and engineering standards.
  • Apply Process Safety Management principles and maintenance planning methods to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Create work instructions and other tools to assist others in completing work.
  • Estimate maintenance job cost and time requirements with accuracy.
  • Develop job plans effectively and utilize materials and supply spare parts systems.
  • Use relevant information and data to determine the best course of action and requirements to complete a job in a timeframe that is consistent with business requirements.
  • Generate plans that detail the steps, sequence, and estimate of time required to complete the scope of work.
  • Request all materials required to complete the work order and review the Scope of Work to identify requirements for specialty services.
  • Use purchasing tools to create the best value for Polyvantis while following MAS purchasing guidelines.
  • Create accurate plans for work orders assigned and work to reduce work backlog.
  • Daily material coordination using approved MRO processes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, High School Job Readiness Certification, or equivalent educational diploma.
  • Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the position.
  • Journeyman Mechanic or Electrician experience.

Physical Requirements

Lift/carry 20lbs, bend/stoop/twist, crouch, kneel, climb/balance, use tools, stand, walk, and some sedentary work.

Eligibility Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Work Schedule

Flexible day shift hours, occasional overtime and weekends.

Starting Hourly Pay Rates

$41.33.
