Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide high-quality patient care.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Medication Management: Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Office Operations: Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, processing medical records, and maintaining office supplies.
- Education: Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Licensure: Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic medical records and practice management software.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to stressful situations, including those involving public contact, trauma, grief, and death. The successful candidate must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including latex materials or appropriate substitutes, and must be able to move freely about the facility with or without an assisted device.
