Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as a Medical Office Registered Nurse in a dynamic and patient-centered environment. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, coordinating care with other providers, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient assessment and care under the direct supervision of the provider.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including orders reconciliation, secure messaging, and other tasks as assigned.
• Coordinate care with the care team, including working with patients and families to manage disease processes and care management.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures, and prepare and clean patient areas as needed.
• Maintain medical supplies and equipment, and ensure consistent supply levels to meet patient needs.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in nursing is required; BSN in nursing is preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification within 1 month of hire or transfer.
• Working knowledge of Infor, Electronic Medical Records, and Practice Management programs preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with individuals and teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with regular and predictable attendance.
• Physical demands include occasional lifting or carrying 11-20 lbs, frequent 10 lbs, and ability to walk/stand/push/pull of arm/leg controls.

Working Conditions:

This role requires exposure to stressful situations, including those involving public contact, trauma, grief, and death. The ability to wear personal protective equipment, including latex materials or appropriate substitutes, is required. The role also requires the ability to move freely about the facility with or without an assisted device, and to perform the functions of the job as outlined in the job description. Overall vision and hearing are necessary, with or without assisted devices.
