LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a fast-growing company in the industry to seek a skilled Payroll Administrator to support weekly payroll processing, reconciliations, and garnishments. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that offers hybrid flexibility after training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage weekly payroll processing, auditing, reconciliation, record keeping, and report writing to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Load all payroll files, review, and audit results for accuracy and compliance with client program specifications.
  • Prepare and file all local, state, and federal payroll taxes in a timely manner.
  • Process garnishments, tax levies, and child support orders with precision.
  • Maintain and audit direct deposit and pay card information.
  • Prepare and process independent contractor payments.
  • Document and maintain payroll procedures.
  • Develop and provide management and ad-hoc reporting.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations, tax laws, and employment standards.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Follow up and close out all tasks and questions in a timely manner.
  • Display good judgment and strong problem-solving ability.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
  • Ability to switch gears and tasks and be flexible.
