Job Summary:

The Patient Care Associate is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supporting the clinical team, and promoting a positive patient experience at Friends For All. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Education: Educate patients about medications, treatments, and physician's instructions.">
  • Lab Procedures: Perform basic laboratory tests, collect and prepare specimens for analysis, and administer medications as directed.">
  • Administrative Tasks: Coordinate services in conjunction with other team members to meet patient's primary health care needs and to ensure the continuity of care.">

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.">
  • Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.">
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting, such as a medical testing laboratory, hospital, or medical office.">
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to operate with purpose, urgency, and accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.">
