Regional Medical Center of Memphis is seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will assist staff with patient care activities, EKGs, phlebotomy, and clerical duties to ensure seamless patient care.

">Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Provide direct patient care by performing assigned tasks for patient care plan implementation, contributing information in day-to-day management of patient care, and carrying out routine nursing care measures as delegated.
  • EKGs and Phlebotomy: Perform diagnostic EKGs and collect specimens efficiently while ensuring accurate documentation and proper ordering, charging, and computer entry.
  • Clerical Duties: Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing charts, completing tab sets, transcribing orders, and scheduling tests.
Requirements:
  • Education: Completion of an approved medical assistant program or completion of a nursing assistant program with documentation of training in EKG and phlebotomy.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in patient computer systems.
  • Certifications: Current CPR/BLS certification.
