We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team on the C2BMC Global program. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, integration, and user support for a large code baseline.

- Interface with other system support groups to resolve problems, set standards, and improve efficiency.
- Design, code, test, and implement tools for automation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline preferred from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of experience, or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
- Strong background programming in Java.
- Experience working as part of an Agile team.
- Java Spring experience and knowledge.
- Knowledge and experience with containerization tools such as Docker/Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of server-side development and message passing.
- Experience developing enterprise applications.
- Use of common software development and management tools such as Git, Nexus, JIRA, Confluence, Maven, Gradle, and Eclipse.
- Familiarity with standard system engineering design artifacts such as Use Cases and UML diagrams.
- Automated test and pipeline development experience.
- Experience developing software for Unix/Linux and Windows platforms.
- Experience with Software Integration testing, including developing automated test scripts.
- Experience with Risk Management Framework/STIG/Fortify mitigation.
- Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced, team environment.
- Knowledge of software practices and coding standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including reviewing performance issues, identifying root causes, and recommending and developing a solution.
- Flexibility and willingness to take on unanticipated tasks.
- Command and control system application development.
- Previous experience with message translation software.
- Prior experience designing and developing microservices and deploying with containers; experience setting up a container environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs.
Clearance Requirements:
Applicants must have a current active in-scope DoD issued secret security clearance at the time of application which is required to start; and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary Range:
$79,300 - $118,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
