Job Description

At Kratos, we're seeking a talented Front-End Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our integration command and control project for the US Air Force, you'll be responsible for integrating multiple COTS products into a single user interface.

The successful candidate will work closely with our team to acquire a deep understanding of customer needs, environment, and users, and develop solutions for demonstration and delivery. We utilize an agile approach to development, seeking stakeholder involvement and feedback in iterative inspect-adapt cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Turn requirements into deployment-quality code with mentoring by senior team members
  • Implementation of web-based graphical user interfaces (GUIs) using Angular and other frameworks
  • Consume and visualize JSON data exposed by the back-end team
  • Docker-based application deployment
  • UX advocacy
  • Utilize CI/CD and configuration management best practices
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Coordinate with cross-functional team members to accomplish project objectives
  • Participate in Agile meetings and activities

Requirements:

  • BS or MS Degree in CS, CE, or EE with software design, engineering, and development skills
  • Familiarity with modern software development practices and tools
  • 5-7 years of software development experience
  • Proficiency developing with Angular
  • Proficiency with git
  • Team player and capable of working in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Experience writing and delivering technical documents and briefings
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance

  • Experience with streamed data (WebSockets, SSE, etc.)
