Job Overview
This position entails a variety of responsibilities essential for the smooth operation of customer service and field activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handles service requests initiated by customer support personnel; oversees, adjusts, and reschedules workload as necessary; reviews system-generated reports to prepare for subsequent operations.
  • Creates, finalizes, and cancels service requests as needed.
  • Supports the customer service team by establishing service setups, accounts, and generating meter orders.
  • Dispatches urgent service requests to technicians for prompt attention.
  • Investigates and resolves meter discrepancies and out-of-cycle issues, and may adjust customer accounts accordingly.
  • Oversees, schedules, and processes meter reading routes, prioritizing calls and coordinating orders for construction and maintenance teams.
  • Prepares, distributes, and maintains daily location reports.
  • Generates and keeps various logs and reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis (e.g., leak logs, new services, exceptions, etc.).
  • Assists in the management of overdue notices and monitors special accounts to prevent disconnections.
  • Records financial and consumption adjustments to customer accounts.
  • Codes, verifies, and processes invoices from vendors and contractors.
  • Enters, processes, and verifies employee time records and payroll documentation. May manage engineering systems and prepare monthly financial reports.
  • May initiate and confirm purchase orders and requisitions.
  • Provides essential information and support to service and maintenance personnel regarding various operational matters.
  • Delivers administrative and clerical assistance to field operations.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, along with two years of experience in customer service or a related field.

Communication Skills:

Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers to gather and provide essential information.


Numerical Skills:
Proficient in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Computer Skills:
Competent in using computer systems for data entry, reporting, and information retrieval.

Work Environment:
Office-based role that may require occasional physical activities such as bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting.
