Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer - Acute Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at an excellent healthcare facility in Chico, CA. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms to evaluate different aspects of the heart, such as chamber size, valve function, and blood flow.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for echocardiograms by applying ultrasound gel to the surface of their chest.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment to acquire diagnostic images of the heart.
  • Help physicians interpret results and recognize common cardiac abnormalities.
Requirements:
  • Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • 2 years of echocardiography experience required within the last 5 years
