Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RFIC Design Engineer to join our team in Irvine, CA. As a key member of our IP development team, you will be responsible for designing RF circuits, including LNAs, PAs, and switches, to meet the demanding requirements of our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop RFIC blocks to meet the requirements of product development teams, including documentation and integration guides.
  • Update existing IP designs to serve the needs of various design teams.
  • Spend 50% of time on direct product development of LNAs, switches, and PAs that are integrated into Skyworks RF front-end modules.
Requirements
  • MS/PhD in EE or similar field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • Minimum 10 years RF design experience in Si/SOI/SiGe processes.
  • Experience in analog design for control of RF circuits, such as temperature sensor, DAC, ADC, TIA, BGAP, current source, voltage regulator.
  • Fluency in virtuoso design environment from schematic capture to GDSII.
  • Track record of designs that resulted in high-volume manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience using RF lab equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PA design using GaAs HBT/HEMT.
  • Verilog-A modeling.
  • Python programming.

Skyworks offers a competitive salary range of $126,500 - $241,700 per year, depending on relevant experience and skills. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, and employee stock purchase plan.
