Safety and Compliance Specialist

PACCAR is a global leader in the commercial vehicle industry, and we're seeking a highly skilled Safety and Compliance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Product Design Engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate new designs for compliance with federal regulations and industry standards.
- Assess current products for regulatory changes and ensure compliance.
- Investigate product defects and coordinate with various departments to resolve issues.
- Represent Peterbilt at depositions and trials as needed.
- Manage multiple tasks, prioritize responses, and coordinate with multiple PACCAR divisions.
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck products, manufacturing, and process knowledge.
- Seven or more years of engineering experience, preferably with PACCAR.
- Proficiency with OPS, COPICS, Word, Excel, warranty system, and DealerNet.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
