Job Overview

Volt is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Denton, TX. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our electrical control panels meet the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans to ensure compliance with UL standards.
  • Conduct final inspections of electrical control panels and switchgear to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with production staff to provide training and guidance on quality standards and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements related to UL standards and quality control processes.
  • Develop and execute quality control plans for each project, tailoring them to meet customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a QA/QC role within an electrical panel manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical panel manufacturing processes, quality control methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Proficient in using quality management systems and tools.
