Key Responsibilities
* Designs, develops, selects, tests, implements, and evaluates education of new or modified informatics solutions, data structures, and decision-support mechanisms
* Assists in planning, design, development, implementation, support, and ongoing optimization of the electronic health record and other technologies
* Monitors, audits, and reports on education and adoption processes to identify needs and trends
* Collaborates with teams to formulate corrective actions for identified needs
* Builds professional skills by maintaining awareness of the healthcare environment, clinical information systems technology, evidence-based practice, leadership, and informatics industry trends and standards
* Coordinates system parameters and project designs with directors, project teams, and vendors
Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled individual with a Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution or a master's degree in health informatics from an accredited institution. Four years of professional nursing experience or four years of professional health informatics experience are required. Healthcare information systems experience is highly preferred.
Compensation
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
