Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct complex financial analysis to identify savings opportunities, including pricing, rebates, and administrative fees.
  • Provide expertise in data analysis, finding solutions to complex data requests, managing projects, and embracing constant change.
  • Interact with department management, teams, internal customers, and report interpretation.

Requirements:

  • Develop and maintain data sets and perform ad hoc analysis to address inquiries and resolve anomalies.
  • Analyze PO line item data to determine current product usage and cost through data mining, cross-referencing, and pricing application.
  • Communicate savings and cost reduction initiatives to the Spend Manager/Spend Executive.
  • Interpret report results based on market and product knowledge.
  • Consult with Spend Manager/Spend Executive to gather requirements for new requests and determine the appropriate analytical solution.
  • Identify trends and performance levels for metrics based on established benchmarks or create benchmarks using standard or customized approaches.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Advanced skills in Excel highly preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, project management, and presentation skills desired.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • SQL experience a plus.
  • Willingness to travel.

Compensation:

The current salary range for this role is $51,900.00 to $82,000.00. This position is also incentive eligible. Vizient has a comprehensive benefits plan.
