Position: Bartender/Server

Shift Details:

  • Hours: 3 p.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Days: Monday - Saturday
  • Employment Type: Part-time

Role Summary: The Bartender/Server will warmly welcome residents and guests, understand their preferences, respond to inquiries, and prepare and serve beverages and alcoholic drinks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver beverages and alcohol in a safe environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Efficiently serve food and drinks in a restaurant-style setting.
  • Provide accurate information about menu items, including suggestions and answers to questions.
  • Monitor guests to fulfill additional requests and recognize when meals are completed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the Pub area, including storage and equipment.
  • Utilize the Point of Sale system effectively for billing guests at the end of service.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and Plymouth Place policies.
  • Ensure regular attendance and punctuality at work and meetings.
  • May require occasional travel for work-related purposes.
  • Be available during emergencies or natural disasters as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English to effectively communicate with residents and staff.

Additional Requirements:

  • Availability on weekends is preferred.
  • Basset Training will be provided.
