Job Title: EHS Specialist

Are you passionate about creating a safe and healthy work environment? Do you have a strong background in environmental health and safety? We are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our team at Randstad.

Job Summary:

The EHS Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing safety plans, procedures, and policies in accordance with OSHA standards. This includes monitoring and inspecting facilities and equipment, investigating accidents and hazardous conditions, and conducting safety training and awareness programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety plans, procedures, and policies in accordance with OSHA standards
  • Monitor and inspect facilities and equipment to ensure compliance
  • Investigate accidents and hazardous conditions and recommend corrective measures
  • Conduct safety training and awareness programs
  • Monitor and suggest the use of safety equipment and personal protective equipment
  • Stay informed of changes in safety regulations and legislation to ensure compliance
  • Ensure that all safety-related documentation and records are properly maintained and updated
  • Respond to safety and health-related inquiries and complaints
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in health and safety, industrial hygiene, or related field
  • Certification in safety and health from a recognized safety organization is preferred
  • Knowledge of safety laws, regulations, and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
